alz files

    what is and alz file ??????
    and were do i find a program that can read it ????

    Not 5 minutes ago I ran into the same thing...a bunch of model files with an alz extension.

    I'm not sure, but I think it is a type of file compression.

    Maybe winrar or all zip can handle it.

    Let's wait for a computer whiz to verify it for us though.

    because is free to personal use.

    Both, Winrar and Winzip are shareware, you have to pay to use them when the trial period ends.

    Alzip has a good compression ratio. It can open .zip or .rar files and you don't have any license problem.

    For zip I use JustZIPit. a free program. I have no problem with it.

    There are several more free zip programs.
