    Site looks authentic

Man the site sure looks authentic. If they are pirates they
    are slick, brave, and stupid.

    Hi guys

I've written directly to the IAF who are the actual publishers of the IAF Magazine. If I get a response from the Israeli Airforce, I'm assuming the answer will be final. Whatever they say will be regarded as law regarding the IAF mag. models

    Talk soon :)

Here's hoping we get a good response... I'd hate to think I need to destroy that CD-R along with the other legal stuff already on it... or at least rewrite it. But I promise I will if we find out otherwise.

The IAF site is not the one I called a pirate site. Someone posted a reply to this thread with the address of a site that had scans of Maly Modelarz kits. That was the site I originally called pirate.

If the scans on the IAR site were from kits that they published themselves, thn they are free to distribute them any way they want, including free on a web site.

Nobody has to destroy any CDs, unless you downloaded some of those MM scans

    Fair enough

Sounds like the right approach Ron.
    I am against piracy.
It WOULD be a real shame
though to miss out on the opportunity
to obtain those models if they ARE
    being released legitimately.
Thanks for making the inquery so we
can all be certain of this site's
As you can see, if it is a pirate,
    they are really slick sometimes.
Everything looks official. I know, that doesn't
make it kosher; a book by it's cover and all.
But it can make determination of legitimacy
difficult, and mis-leading. I have been mis-lead before.
Downloaded what was called a free model, (advertised as so)
only to find it was a scan of a MM kit.
The resulting guilt just posessing something you
know is not kosher bites. Even deleting leaves one
feeling dirty, and a disk wipe of the space is the
only way to feel like it is safely erased, and won't get
you into trouble. It's Like being tricked into accepting stolen goods.

I will note that the ISP seems to have off-lined the page.
Maybe just a precaution until they are sure as well.
(Then again, maybe it's more than that.)
