I have mostly built Sci-Fi type of card models like the AT-ST and AT-AT but am looking to expand to other types. I am looking for a recommendation for an aircraft model that would be considered moderate in difficulty. I was first thinking of a Japanese Zero or something along those lines, but open to pretty much anything that will result in awe when finished. Any help is greatly appreciated!

That looks nice, but I was hoping to start with something that was available free till I can work my way up! You are in the right lines of thinking though for what I am looking for. Thanks for your suggestion!

    Japanese WWII models

These aren't free either, but if you're looking for Japanese planes, this is a good wesite that features alot of them:

    John, thanks.

If you never build a plane, free and electronic format is really the best option.
    Try the GeeBee
Nice little plane, not overly complicated but really looking great.

I did see that one and downloaded it. It looks pretty straight forward and should hopefully get me into the swing of things. Thanks for the tip!
