Advise on broken wheel

I have a BR35 T.T Loco

In replacing a wheel crank,
I need to remove the broken Kurbel (31016) from the wheel.
Can anybody tell me if it is glued into the wheel or just pushed in?
I'm just learning so any other advice would be helpful.

Welcome to The Gauge

Most of those are pressed in, some are cast as part of the wheel then threaded. I've done this with Rivarossi locomotives and it works just fine. Use a slow cure epoxy for adjusting and be careful not to get any in the threads.

Please...PLEASE....don't use that color font again I still think Gerry Garcia is lurking in the corner of my layout room from my last 70s flashback.
