Christmas has come and past and now I need to upgrade my toy that I got for a present. I received an Atlas Silver Series SD35 locomotive in PRR colors :thumb: and would like to upgrade it to sound and DCC. The locomotive is DCC ready, currently no decoder installed, and appears to have a location for a speaker and a NMRA 8pin plug. Some one told me that these are easily upgraded to the Atlas Gold status. Has anyone done this and what else is needed to pull this job off. I was considering a Soundtraxx DSD-101LC, a Tsunami would be nice but they are a little pricey.
