You actually don't need a mine on that side of the divider. Just the siding to spot the cars to be picked up by the mine switcher is all that is necessary. My loads-out side is just a cut with an overpass.
That is why I only need a single track. If you are cramped for space you can have the siding for the industry doing the same thing. Just showing the car movements. Sort of stealth industries.
