Hi Gixerg,

Thanks for your answer and for the website.
I'm living to the other side of the Channel. When I was young I read books about Douglas BADER, Stanford TUCK and Sailor MALAN.
I've visit the RAF museum in Hendon and I think it's a great museum.
The planes are beautiful.:thumb:

Hendon museum is a fabulous place to visit as is Duxford http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mclaydon/news.htm which is about 30-45 minutes away so I am sometimes treated to aircraft flying over when there is a display on.
I've been very lucky aviation wise with 2 airfields nearby that used to have displays,West Malling being one of the largest Warbird displays in the country.
One of my luckiest moments was buying a book about Douglas Bader second hand for 75P as I was walking home a Spitfire flew over an incredible coincidence,oh the book was signed by the author,Baders brother in law and fellow fighter pilot Laddie Lucas and also by Douglas Bader himself. Not bad for less than a pound. I look forward to seeing more of your builds.
