88's Time Travel Challenge

A Central New England 80 ton three truck, standard gauge Shay, simmers in the hot summer sun. This is from a postcard taken in 1918.

Its 1961, and a lone New Haven GP-9 waits at Ore Hill siding, while a run through frieght passes by on the mainline.

With the high price of gas, the Connecticut Department of Transportation's Litchfield Hills commuter train, led by a P32AC, is packed with commuters, as it glides past Ore Hill on its way to Hartford.
