The instructions are a white PDO, and the model is a 10 page colored PDF. I have built about half of the model. I usually don't do a build thread before I finish building a model because I worry it might get damaged or destroyed before it done. I hate not finishing a build thread. I don't know if I said it in my very first build thread that I free hand score, and cut the parts. I don't use a ruler. I bend, and fold with my thumbs, and fingers. I hold the glued parts together till the glue sets up, and I can let go of it. No clamps. With that said I hope you enjoy my build.:)

I messed up and glued the middle of the base upside down, but I reprinted it and glued it to the bottom. It doesn't change the model. Nothing goes inside the base just on top of it. I started on the side parts next.

There is another version I like, but it is 115 pages! I will wait till I am better at building before tackling it. I do have the 1966 version printed out for the past two years.

That looks Great zathros! Like to try building it when you finish it!

Thanks Rhaven Blaack!

This will probably be the last you hear from me till the end of the month or beginning of next month. We are moving, and we won't have our internet till then (cell phone only). We had a landline phone put in about two months ago, but the phone company used the old box instead of a new one. We had to put in a new electric service, which means new 100 amp entry line, meter box, and 100 amp breaker box. The guys who ran it for us thought the phone box wasn't hooked up because it was old, so they cut it and removed it because it was in the way. So now the phone company is going to look at it on the 22nd, and hopefully fix it. We have half our stuff already moved, and the power turn on two days ago.

I will keep checking on your progress Rhaven Blaack through the cell phone.

You make excellent threads. You inspired me to try a Chevy Camaro body, this is how far I have got so far:

Nice Camaro Zathros. I'm amazed how you design in 3D. I am just too hands on. Even my toy displays are old school. Started designing a flight rig for action figures and I'm on the drawing lap board with a rule and pencil.

Noting wrong with designing with Rule and square. I learned how to loft ship hulls that way when I was 11 years old. I use string to get the overall distance, and by using string, come up with the lengths of these curved surfaces, and am able to make parts that fit together. One string on each former, knowing where the line will begin and end, in relation, and I can then cut a parallelogram that fits perfectly between the formers, not too short or long, as the string gave me the length. The gives me the template for making the ship. This is for "imitation" steel ships, not planked hulls. I fared those with long strips of balsa. ;)

I am back! Still getting the new place up and running, but had some free time to get back on this. So I finished the front except for the tires, guards, and head lights. Next will be the tail. The rear axle, rear wings, and rocket/jet?
