that thing is bad to the bone
the reason that is so fast is because there are no electronics, it doesnt have to be that sturdy so its very light. and it takes about 30 seconds to reach full speed. If a normal rc car accelerated at that speed you would have to follow behind it in a real car for about a mile for it to reach full speed. You ca
yeah thats not controlled by a radio.aslo,you mean rate not speed.
i have actually done that where you follow behind in a full size passenger car.that can be alot of fun.
about 7 or 8 years ago a friend and i took my car out on a hwy.when the hwy. was dead.no cars on it.
it was a Team Associated rc10 buggy hooked up with nice road tires.the one they made right before the B2.i ran 16 cells in series with a 9 turn motor,high geared.we crused at 83 mph for a few miles then it started to slow down and i figured the batteries ran out of juice but it burnt out the speed control.that was the Tekin 420G2.the specs were no motor limit 20 cells but it burnt out.they dont make them anymore.
