  1. From 1983: Nuclear Power Plant (1/350) for download

    Hello all,

as 2006 is closing soon, we make available for download that
1/350 scale cardmodel of a german 1300 megawatt nuclear power plant.
As usual this download is for members only.
Tune to http://www.kartonmodell-forum.de and take a sneak preview.

This indeed is the legendary Siemens/KWU model designed by me 23 years
ago. It was published in more than 120,000 copies - the most successful
    cardmodel ever produced by J.F.Schreiber . . .

This model consists of 36 sheets A4 containing 1,154 parts to assemble.

What we have already available for download, is:

    • all 36 A4-sheets (210 x 297 mm) with the complete model
    • The complete german instruction booklet (30 pages A4)

    What will follow shortly, is:
    • a few assembly sketches
    • the base
    • english instruction booklet

All downloadable pdf-files are between 1 megabyte minimum and
    6 megabyte maximum.

To enjoy this (23 year old) milestone in cardmodel-history you only
need to register to www.kartonmodell-forum.de, a rather fast line
and your usual knive and glue . . .

And don't forget that you may obtain the successor of this "oldie",
the 2004 1/350 EPR Nuclear Power Plant model Olkiluoto III (Finland),
    frome here:

    Best regards
    Thomas Pleiner

    Sheet 7B is missing.
Bogen 13 and 14 are identical. Both are sheet 7A

Also Bogen 20 I get a not found Error.

A shame since it looks quite fun to assemble.

Open sheet 19 normally in your browser, and rename the A to B, there is a double period after 10-B

No problem, happens all the time.

You would be surprised how many people have never even heard the name.

I once worked with an engineer from India named Avinash Gholap.
He is a super intelligent fellow in his mid 20's, going for a PHD.
He once asked me, "What kind of name is Russell?"
    I just about died laughing!

Long as we're picking nits, I'm Steve. Bruce Cockburn is the Canadian singer/songwriter I'm quoting there.

On the model, 36 sheets! Wow. Could be years before I try it, but I gotta have it. Thank you very much.

Russell, you know he might have called you russel because I called you that for weeks because the very first email you sent me you signed it russel with only one L - I thought it kind of odd but went with it and you didnt correct me :p It must have been eating you up inside! ;) heh heh
Chris (not Kris, Krys or Chri for that matter - though Christopher is acceptable as well)

This model looks awesome - wonder if I can finish it before the competition is over...... NOT! oh well maybe when the over 1000 pieces model competition happens :D

Just having a little fun with it.

Don't know what got into me with that first e-mail, I don't even drink.

I *was* a member at one time, but can't seem to remember my login info. Can't re-register either as the site says my email address is already in use, and it won't send me my password info. The power plant and locomotive models are amazing, but quite a bit more complex than I normally build, anyway...

There are a bunch of other models available for members only and well worth trying to get your account info straightened out.
I would send Thomas a PM and I am sure he will be glad to help you out.

    A- Ha, a revalation!
After downloading Bogen 13, change the A at the end of the URL to B.

I am a little slow sometimes but I come around eventually.
