1/72 BF109E-7 Trop

Recently I resized the free 1/100 Bf109E Tropical (designed by Nobi from Thaipaperworks and available at eCardmodels) to my favorite scale of 1/72. The fit of the parts was absolutely perfect, even in the larger scale. The kit didn't have any fairings, but the wings fit so tightly to the fuselage that it's really not that noticeable. Since these photos were taken, I've added the wing guns and a pitot tube. I like to mount my models, so I textured a paper base with purpleheart woodgrain, and topped it with a cracked desert-like terrain suitable for the North African theater. I'm pretty happy with this one.
