1/48 Nakajima B5N1 Kate

    Yes...I have to design another kate before but that is B5N2, now I have more powerful tool to create a good model and I choose B5N1 to be my next subject. All line is done in Rhino wait to make surface and below is result

    Nope...not yet maybe green as usual...

    there were sono B5N1 operational in the first months of war
    IIRC, Shoho had some , and of course all B5N were green over grey from the start on the war

    if interested, I'll try to found some reference :)

    off topic - a pray to NOBI
    may I ask you if you have ever considered a Mosquito in 1:48?
    I believe there are none in this scale !!
    and it's a beautiful plane, indeed, every inch a match for the marvellous lines of your Ki46 :)

    Surface create. My kate will not have detail much...i want to be easy and beautiful :)

    Panel line is draw and add into surface...will add marking next. looking good now :)

    Nobi can't breath without paper model designing.
