Non-specific costume Mask / Helmet (wip)

THanks guys. I was supposed to do more work on it over the weekend, but life issues took over and all I could get done was finish papier-ing the respirator. :( That was a more fiddley job than I expected, and I think I lost a little of the finer detail around the nose and 'mouth' area. If I...

Query from a newbie about paper sizes.

Many thanks guys. :) I'd seen threads about scaling and stuff in other areas and that A4 was like 90% / 95% the size of Legal, but couldn't see anywhere to mess with that. Guess they were talking about Zathros' method?

Non-specific costume Mask / Helmet (wip)

Thanks. I'm not so sure, not yet anyway, but I hope it will be be when its finished. I should finished putting the respirator together tonight, then I should be able to fit that to the mask at the weekend, and while that dries, make a start on the back half of the helm ...

Non-specific costume Mask / Helmet (wip)

I'm a LAPRer (Live Action RolePlay), and frequently have a hand in running LARP events, usually for the Stargate LRP society that I'm associated with (and currently plot coordinator for). I'm trying to create a set of hi-tech(ish) armour for a character, but want to make it look different from...

    Halloo, UK newbie here.

Sweet. As I said, I'm marrying bits of multiple files to try and make something different (well that's the current project) - working on the headgear first: Army of Two mask, Helghast airfilter/breath mask thingy, and hopefully the back of an Ironman helmet to cap it off for a full helmet. No...

    Halloo, UK newbie here.

Even wips? As I said I only have two on the go at the moment. because I'm planning to wear them for LRP, I'm strengthening them with papier mache, and maybe (if I like the final outcome) grabbing a fibreglass kit from Halfords to really add some strength... But if you guys are happy to put up...

Hello! A new friend is here

ooh I found a ton of ME models online the other day ... I've been to so many sites I'm not sure which one(s) had the files, they all linked to 4shared for the download, but I'm not sure where I found the listing. PS Hi from another newbie.

Query from a newbie about paper sizes.

I'm posting from work, so don't have the exact message, but... I'm in the UK, using pepakura viewer, and have so far printed (and mostly completed) two projects; one is an army of two mask, the other is a Helghast mask thing. (My plan is to put the two together to make a decent sci-fi looking...

What are your favorite SiFi Film/series?

Firefly (Not Serenity so much tbh), Babylon 5, Star Wars, Star Trek DS9, - Oh, and Stargate. I pretty much have to include that one. Pretty much any sci-fi to be honest tho, even the bad ones.

Would you play a game with paper miniatures?

I've used paper models for Tabletop wargaming. I Built a Dreath Star Trench Run out of paper and card for a special event at my games club, and have made buildings and other scenics for 40K WHF, and 'The Game With No Name' (it's a western) battles. But nothing to the awesomeness of that...

    Halloo, UK newbie here.

HI all, Found this place while looking for Pep files to turn in to LARP costume / props. Discovered the wonders of Pep through the 501st and the 405th (but don't want to make Star Wars or HALO kit), but have found there's a wealth of the stuff all over the net, and that's what led me here. :)
