    Weathering armor, 4 chipping techniques

Another example of paper handling. In this project (blue whale from Canon (reduced 6 times if I remember well...) I applied cyano glue in order to be able to putty and sand the model to hide the joints. In the end, I airbrushed the model. I believe that after so much putty I could even use the...

    Weathering armor, 4 chipping techniques

I moderately weather my paper models. During the assembly process, I apply cyano glue (super glue) on the surfaces, especially where the joints are not well done. This way it is possible to sand the model. The same applies to the painting and weathering. Cyano glue kinda "plastifies" the paper...

    WE LOST KATIE

That is my guess too. We grew up surrounded by Sci-Fi filled with heroes greater then ordinary man, when in fact, space exploration will be done by ordinary people. Just with special skills.

19th model exhibition in Almada, Portugal

The local association held this year the 19th edition in a very nice setting, the Clube Nautico de Almada (the yacht club). It is a very laid back event, probably no more than 200 works, no competition, just the pleasure of exhibiting them. Here is a short video of the event. I would suggest to...

    VICTORIAN STYLE TRAMWAY HALT SHELTER

Very good insight on the world of poop&crap. I couldn't resist the humour, but in fact we tend to make jokes of this rather private aspect of our civilization that is of the utmost importance. Convenience and health. And we forget these artefacts. Now I now the origins of an American/English word.

    VICTORIAN STYLE TRAMWAY HALT SHELTER

Great photos! The first object I thought it was some kind of early coffee machine. The image of the lady is very curious. In spite of so many pieces of clothing during the XVIIIth century, the "culottes" - ladies underwear - was split open for this purpose. An obvious solution for garments that...
