I am building a HO scale train set. I have pre-wired each section of track, what do I connect the feeders to the transformer? a differant power source? I have watched you tube but they nerver make the final connection. thanks.

I have 7 locomotives 2 won't move. Both are new if they are DCC equiped would that have an effect on their running. At present I have 2 tracks set up independent of each other, I did not Solder any thing and I am having track seperation problems. Any ideas or tips?
