    Deadliest Catch Cornelia Marie

My wife was reading North by Northwestern, and I built this at 1/2 of the original scale, just so she could have a visual reference. Turned out to be a very nice little model. Thanks! jon

    Alien: Narcissus project

Looks like a fun project. I recall reading somewhere that one of the prop models was created as a "fore-shortened" version of the lifeboat, so it would look right in some of the shots. You might be cautious about that when looking at pix from the film for reference.

New free Flying Boxcar & Phoenix models

Thanks for sharing, Bob. While in the Air Force my dad flew C-54's (Berlin Airlift) and C-119's (troop carrier) along with other planes. Last stationed at Dover AFB, Delaware, I recall they had F-89's and SA-16's on the base, although he did not fly either of those. He flew C-124's and C-133's...

    Douglas DC-8

Thanks for the responses. BIG is okay - it can always be scaled down. I'd be interested when you get it put together. jon

    George Adamski's Venusian Scoutship/Chicken Feeder/Ice Cream Machine!

Having grown up with, among others, Adamski, I always found his claims a little far-fetched. I must admit, however, I'm looking forward to the model! And who knows, he "could" have been for real!

    Han Solo's Blaster UHU02

Hybrid Many years ago I bought a non-firing replica Mauser broomhandle. Now I'm thinking...what if I added all the parts from Uhu's model. Okay, I know it wouldn't be _all_ paper, but...oh, the temptation! ;o)

    Uhu02's Fantastic Voyage

Domes For those in the U.S., I found that www.kitkraft.biz has clear plastic domes (hemi-spheres) in an assortment of sizes ranging from 9/16 inch to at least 6 inch. Prices are reasonable, although you have to buy several as a package (ie: 5 each 1 1/4 inch domes for $6.25 plus shipping). I...
