    Incredible Babylon 5 Models

When i tried to open those files by opening them through file browser (right-click - open with...) there was actually a very quick flash of some error message in Pepakura, something about invalid filepath but i forgot to investigate it. Oh well, renaming works. Thanks! Now i just need more ink :)

    Incredible Babylon 5 Models

The files that can be opened do not include for example any of the antennas in the front or the small parts along the sides. The parts for the lower-half of the front section are missing etc. But the instructions show these parts. That's why i assumed that there's something wrong with the "a"-files.

    Incredible Babylon 5 Models

I thought I would rebuild the Agamemnon. But as I tried to open the "a" -files, "omega page1a", "omega page2a" and "omega page3a", Pepakura Viewer says "File does not exist". Other files open just fine.

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

Finished. Hopefully this was useful. I'm glad I inspired some of you with this thread  The model was overall a nice design. I added those red boxes (raw material storage apparently) along the spine-thingy. I also cut open the docking port.

    Babylon 5: Omega & Hyperion

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

Here's the rest of the spine and the whole thing assembled. Next up would be the solar panels and assembling the whole station

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

That's always the problem isn't it... I finished the panel mounts and the "spine". I added some extra detailing to the spine and to the front section of the station. I also cut open the tips of the panel mounts.

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

Some progress yet again. The P-section was interesting to put together  Well it'll do... more or less orb-like structure. Finally J-section put together with port entrance -piece and we have.... a salt/pepper shaker?

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

Here we go again... more tubes :icon_razz: Parts J&K and L&M are pretty much alike in terms of assembly (Picture has unassembled parts J and K). I added few slices of painted cardstock for hull-wise "supports" that are there in J and L but are missing in the original model. Finally parts from J...

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

Yeah that's one reason i thought of doing this thread. You know for the greater good... :icon_lol: So far nothing strange has come up. It seems pretty straight forward. B5's just a big lumpy tube. :1:

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

More work done... Lots of cylinders on this model. edit: I just realised how big (long) this model will be :icon_eek:

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

Hello, Still cruising in the B5-universe  After Hyperion and Omega I decided to try building Jay's Babylon 5 and I thought I'd make this a build thread... let's see if I can keep this going :1: So far I've completed about a third of the station. I tried for the first time to replace...

    My 3foot Galactica attempt

Nice, clean build. That's one big model... The textures are great on this model

    Babylon 5: Omega & Hyperion

I agree. For me Babylon 5 is "the" sci-fi tv-series, not to take anything away from say Star Trek -universe. So maybe B5-station would be next... or G'Quan cruiser... Compared to Star Trek the B5-universe is short on models  But then again try to make a paper model of a Shadow...

    Babylon 5: Omega & Hyperion

Hello.... My first two builds. Hyperion class heavy cruiser Breheny by Diego Cortes and Omega class destroyer by jaybats. For some reason i chose Hyperion as my first model. But i think it came out allright. I did cheat a bit with the antennas and cannons which are made of toothpicks...
