Hi Zathros, the tricorder is already in the downloads section, but you have to go all the way back to 2008 to find it... http://www.zealot.com/resources/tricorder-tos.175/

    TOS Tricorder

Hi DavidW, thank you for your kind comments. Sorry for the lateness of my reply, I've been on vacation for a couple of weeks. If/when you get around to building the tricorder, please post pics. (If you have problems with the side pieces, where the strap would go, sorry, yes, they are a pig to...

    Ton Class Sweepers/Hunters

I had time to make a little progress on the Hubberston: added some deck detail; reshaped the superstructure about a dozen times and started on the textures. I think I am going to have to redo the Bofors for 1:200  I decided to tidy up my work room, so I could really get down to...

    Ton Class Sweepers/Hunters

Welcome aboard Sailor return! My late father was on the Hubberston in the mid 1970s. It was the last ship he was on before he left the service. I have a model on the go, but real life gets in the way and I don't work on it very often. It's still at the 3d model stage in 'Blender' and still...

    old dr who cybermen gun.

Red- It seems to me that the file is zipped twice(!) Try re-naming the new file "cyber gun parts" to "cyber gun Parts.zip" and then try unzipping it again. Also, I couldn't unzip the initial file using WinZip, I had to use Winrar. P.S. Thanks for the file Facelift

Ordnance QF 25 Pounder Field Gun

I managed to put a bit more time in on this one. I've added the muzzle break; wheel hubs and a few other details. There's still plenty of little bits to add:The sight; the scoop-bucket; the firing mechanism on the breech; a strut on the chasis under the breech and a dozen other minor greeblies...

Ordnance QF 25 Pounder Field Gun

Added some detail, mostly around the shield and started trying to make some texures. I think the rivets look ok, but the 'dirtying' needs a lot more work.

Ordnance QF 25 Pounder Field Gun

Thanks Stev0. I saw that one and it is an excellent model, especially the textures:eek:, but there’s something not quite right about it. Either the shield is too small or the wheelbase is too wide? After staring at so many pictures of this thing you sort of get an eye for what’s right or wrong...

Ordnance QF 25 Pounder Field Gun

Thanks for the offer Charlie, I may take you up on that. I think I have reference shots of just about everything (plenty of reference material on the interweb) but no doubt there will be something I've missed. The gun on its carriage is 18' 2" (5.53m) from muzzle break to the tip of the...

Ordnance QF 25 Pounder Field Gun

    I couldn't find model of the 25PDR, so I thought I would have a go myself: I'm thinking 1:12 or 1:16 scale.

    St. Valentine's day is coming!

Well, This is what I came up with this year. It is part of the Stravinsky Fountain near the Pompidou centre in Paris. We spent a few Valentine's days in Paris during our youth. Now to think-up something for next year

    St. Valentine's day is coming!

the pdo file is now in the Downloads area, under architecture. Each colour is arranged on a different sheet, so you could remove the textures altogether and just print the outline onto coloured card. Edit: ....Well, the file seems to be stuck in moderation (or I didn't upload it correctly)...

St. Valentine's day is only a month away. has anyone got any bright ideas for paper modelling inspired cards/gifts? To get the ball rolling, here's something I made for my beloved last year: Unfotunately I decided to make the reverse side first, which came out nice and flat. The front...
