With about 400+ freight and 80 locomotives and no layout, I'm miserable anyway.

I'm gonna scratch the GP38-2M. There are too many what ifs, and it's too modern for my era. I just found a 4 window canadian cab and I'm gonna change the radiators and filter box to backdate the shell.

That's why I like FREELANCING, I can call it a ERS-2000M if I want to. I really would have rather used the cab you show, But at the prices charged, I couldn't afford it. I'm retired. I used the Smokey Valley Union Pacific SD-60M Cab because it was only $6.75.

Maybe I'll just call this one a GP-15X.

Thanks for the update Dave. I was going by what I read on another forum as to the equipment used in the GP15. I don't plan to make any changes to my locomotive though as it is a freelance what if. I did just order some more "CANNON" parts for it. That takes the "CANNON" parts that I've purchased...

GP-9s were used for the trucks and prime movers on the real thing. They didn't have V16s and they were rated at 1850 horse power. :confused:
