    Brass locos

As an HO modeler, I can say that this particular product from Bachmann The auxilliary tender) was a Godsend. Previously, I owned 2 NWSL, and one resin version of this aux tender. Now, thanks to Bachmann, I have 10+. The Bachmann's go for $25, while the NWSL's were going for $100+ prior to...

    Help Me Dream

Really, really, really consider an around the walls, shelf layout that is set at about shoulder height. It would be quite easy to step under. If you keep much or some of the shelf to 1 foot deep, you can have desks under the layout and they will not be dark at all, nor will you feel...

    Steam Engine Rosters

I actually got to help repaint the 578 about 6? years ago. A group from the N&WHS offered to paint it for the museum in Worthington because it was looking pretty rough. It was a great reward climbing on and around that engine for several weeks. They let us drive some of the trolleys and...

    Steam Engine Rosters

I concentrate on one road, because there are too many nice engines available lately, and I couldn't afford enough N&W engines to run a layout + extra engines just because they appeal to me but don't contribute to running a prototypical layout.

    Yard Scenes

Weekly Photo Phun Week of Nov. 9

Thanks. It was my layout until I moved due to work a while back (transfer). I am working on a 12 x 2 ft switching layout to keep me from going stir crazy now since I have hardly any extra room (no basement!). It was a 20 x 40 foot double deck layout with a helix. I miss it.

Even though the focus was bad, I still like this picture. Some time I will photoshop a better sign into the picture.

    "Night" photography

Here's my attempt from a few years back. An Olympus 2 MP camera. I'm sure I could do much better now with my better equip, but don't have a layout any longer. The light effects were done with PSP7 sunburst effect.
