    Can i mix track?

From what I remember about Peco, they are both code 55 and 70. You need to file the bottom section off. (dual flanges). I think you should go with atlas or other brand if you want prototype. The thick rail is noticable.

What is the Best N Scale Track?

You should use code 80 in tunnels for reliability. To make the connection flatten the code 80 rail joiner, then solder the code 55 0n top. File rough edges.

    Greetings

Hi, I'm not sure when the box cars were no longe to have running boards on the roofs. If you want to model the 70's, would this conflict with the modern day RR? Towns etc could be 1970, Automobiles, Railroad equipment etc should be modern day.

    What's Wrong With This Picture????

I believe for girder bridges, the ratio of span to girder height is the same for any scale. Information in "Bridges and Trestles" (Model Railroader) is as follows: Span Height 110'-0' 10'-0" 90'-0" 9'-4" 70'-0" 8'-0" 50'-0" 6'-6" 30'-0" 5'-9" Hope this helps.
