Ohio Western is doesn't refer to the locale of the railroad. The OW is my freelanced modern railroad. Ohio Western is just a combination of names like Norfolk Southern. I'm from southwest Ohio originally, and you're right, it's not coal country. My original thought for a name was Great Lakes...
