This one's 10cm long in it's current version as I found some size information that stated a length of 50m, which is far too long now that I think about it... the ISSCV should be around half that lenght I think.

Nuh I think for an army that fights bugs, their dropships look a bit too much like insects :) But still they look a whole lot better than the ones from the movie. But the resemblance to the Pelican and Cheyenne is too strong, as I don't want a bunch of dropships that look all the same. At least...

I couldn't find a lot of information about the size of neither the common spherical dropship nor the leopard... but I'm estimating they're both a bit too large for what I was planning, they simply wouldn't match the other dropships. Maybe I'll make them a special feature one day :)...

Thought about that, too... I think I do have some templates from Mech Commander lying around, which would only need to be rescaled, but maybe I'll write an article on where to find more dropships that already exist and how to scale them. Btw. the Imperial shuttles are a great idea :)

Yeah there was a little mistake with the scale calculations... I first found a source that stated the length of the Enterprise as 360m, and with that number I calculated the scale to 1/1700. However, since the actual length of the ship is 225m, I had to recalculate the scale to 1/1050. Otherwise...

OK, it's finished! I had no idea how hard it is to take a photo of the gun in your hand ;) The inside isn't painted yet because of the aforementioned ammo problem. @col. kurtz: that's a very good idea, plus it will have the effect that at least one version will be available a bit sooner :)...

Thank you all! As you can see the pistol is finished building. Still have to build the ammo though, but I was more eager on painting the thing :) So far I have coloured the grip, which looks especially nice I think, and the gun metal parts (i.e. the darker ones). The rest will be painted...

Maybe you can see the places on the grip where I tried reinforcing it with epoxy... however, this is just the prototype so it will not have any strengthening stuff at all. And like I know me, it may take a lot of time before I build another one... but we'll see. I would like to try expanding...
