    JSC U-35 Submarine 1:250

It turned out nicely, Jim. Don't you think, though, that all those merchant seamen on your freighter might be a tad nervous about having a surfaced U-boat so close at hand? PS Do you ever get puzzled looks from people hearing about a redhorse for the first time? Around here, we have...

Paper Model Store has that kit. Check around the Polish vendors, too. Some of them have very reasonable shipping rates.

    JSC U-35 Submarine 1:250

My very first card model was their hand-drawn 1/400 Mikasa; it had the same sort of fit problems in abundance. That building experience has caused me to shy away from other JSC products. Good luck on your project!

    GPM Dragon Wagon

Ken, Excellent model, and the edge coloring is very nice. For future projects, another option is to try watercolor markers. Tombow and Le Plume are two of the better-known brands. Here is a link to the Tombow color selection -- a lot of shades to choose from and only $1.90/pen...cheaper...

    CSS Hunley by Renova

Excellent work, CT! Your model is an object lesson in both the problems inherent in any model and the problem-solving skills needed to overcome them and make a top-notch model. A challenge, to be sure, and yet one of the appealing aspects of the hobby, I find. Regards,

Hey, David. Believe it or not, I had my choices for Free Model #3 narrowed down to the WZ-X...and this model! So naturally, I will be interested to see what you do with this one. DN's USS Admirable was one of my first card efforts. Cheers!
