    You might get that impression but there is a metal rod that runs the length of the body. Makes it very strong especially when you use too thick a rod wall1 means you have a bit of bashing to get the body formers to fit round the rod.

    A truely outstanding piece of work. Only one small issue and that is with the site you are using to hold your pics, there are young people who use this site, we shoudln't be exposing the young to this sort of thing. Let them go find it for themselves :rolleyes: Bill

    Built size is about 6 inches tall with a 10 inch wing span. I have since found out that it is not 50% reduction but is about 80% so a true 50% will be a bit smaller. Thanks for the nice comments and a happy new year to you and yours. Dito to all paper modellers of this group. Bill

    Thanks for the nice comment sneaker. The model is from a book which you can see in the attached pic. It has two models in it, the sitting one and a flying one. The flying one has a wing span about 30 inches body length is similar so it ends up a big model, dont know if I will ever make that...

    160 gsm Lex!, I use that for normal models like rockets and things like that. I use 90gms paper for my figure models, when you have used this stuff 160gsm feels like plywood. Then again I have seen some of your models and I think they make mine look rubbish. Bill
