I would say you should even design this model without 3D-Software - just to get into the mood and a feeling for paper and all which is needed. In my opinion, this model is a simlpe one, just easy simple shapes, could be modelled in 2D with pen and paper. But its a huge stack of work...

Hello, i noticed you need two Hex for a straigt street...... Why not move the street alitte upward or downward, so that it uses only one half of the Hex ? if you make it so, you need only one single hex to build a straight street instead of two.

Hey - learing the hard way is not for pussies ;-) so while repairing - make altercations so that you could repair, modifier future accidents with out surgical butching the model.... Alas thats a one in a life experience...

Its easier to model it just a half of the model and then mirror it. Thouse you don't need to think about some possible symetric errors ....... And its in summary just a little over half the work.

Use a Foldline indicator outside the part. Means two little lines in the white along the foldline..... Would be my best guess...... But don't know if its a workable methode in Pepakura

Why you all like such heavy metal bikes, which needs so much power just to get rolling, and all of them have a big fear of curves and turns ;-) ?????? I just like my little small 600cc bike, although 10 years old but still fast and aktive enough.....

Maybe i have an explanation. If you glue the parts togehter, the glue must cure. This means it will shrink a little bit due to loss of mass (the dissolvent) So if you have a glue surface with different sizes top and bottom there will be an different shrink. And because the glue is...

Just crazy...... But i would start from the inner backbone just to be sure that it would hold structural together. keep in mind, this is a space-vessel, not something which is to be griped by blanc gravity
