Why do you build card models

I like paper models for the variety and the scale. I don't see a day when there is a plastic 1/32 B-52, Vulcan or B-1 available. At least not until credit is flowing freely enough to take out a mortgage to be able to buy it.

    Stingray

Thank you, Gary. I enjoyed the Stone Trek site a few years ago and built the Magnetize for a friend. I wanted to build another for myself. I wonder if JJ Abrams has stuck to canon with the new film and has many, many redshirts die. Shawn

    Stingray

Looks great. Do you have the file for the Stone Trek USS Magnetize in the background of the pictures? I've lost mine and can't find it online. Thanks

    Sd.Kfz. 9 Famo (Angraf 5/2005)

You'd better be careful. If less scrupulous designers know that poorly designed kits can be built this well, they may not put forth the effort to design models that fit well. Your build is excellent and does a great job of hiding the kit's flaws.

    PSF: Phase Pistol

If you try the expanding foam, be very careful. It expands a great deal and WILL deform or rupture your model if you use even a little bit too much. You might be better carving regular white foam to fit inside each subassembly before it is buttoned shut and then painting the exterior with a...

    WW2 over done?

While I agree that the post-WWII armor is under-represented, it doesn't seem to hold the same interest among people. People today just don't care enough to know ZSUs, BTRs, LeClercs or any of the myriad other AFVs. The vehicles just aren't the heroes and villains that the Sherman, Panther and...

    Ping-Pong Ball Cannon!

If you loaded several, it would just be one blast. A vertical feed tube would let them shoot one at a time. Chris, I meant to scale it down to use the mini marshmallows, like we use in our PVC marshmallow guns.

    Ping-Pong Ball Cannon!

No problem. I'm sure my boys will want to make a few this weekend. How about a vertical feed chute to make it a semi auto? Maybe a smaller version for marshmallows?????

    Ping-Pong Ball Cannon!

The parts file is missing the page with the carriage for the cannon. Other than that, it looks good.

Dragolad, just because the files were on a site for you to see doesn't mean that their owner forfeited any and all copyrights, it meant that they were sharing them. In the year since you joined, you've no doubt seen many, many threads on copyright and IP in general. Please don't turn this into...

    Webdude !! Webdude!!

I just might have to do this one before the hammer and anvil plane. I've got to stop by the hobby shop and get some 0.015" piano wire. I think that this tail wheel will need it. Thanks again. Hopefully I'll have pictures Monday.
