Osprey books are not a very good source of information. The one about Confederate ironclads is very bad. The drawings are wrong. They are more a fantasy of the illustrator than depiction of real warships.

I am sorry to spoil the fun, but this model doesn't look like right. The hull of the original ship was completely different. It seems that this model was based on a poor 1:200 Verlinden plastic kit. The issues of that kit were discussed at the www.steelnavy.com message board some time ago...

Thanks foxmalcolm! That's a beautiful model. I have an idea concerning the instruction. You can release the PDO file, looking at it it's usually easy to see how the things are put together.

foxmalcolm, your Fury looks really good. Are you going to release it anytime soon?

Micheal, does your policy concerning selling models to Poland still stand? I would love to buy the P-40B, because I am sure it will not be available here in print in that given version (Pearl Harbor machines). Is there any chance for me to get it?

This is just amazing! I have already printed a copy of this model, but have very little free time, so it'll have to wait for the right moment ;) Along with Cobra's Mercury Monterey and Batman's Tumbler, this is my favourite movie car. Keep up the good job!

Another one of my weird posts ;-) As far as I know, there are no paper models of a typical German WWII helmet. I need one, so I guess, I'll have to build it myself. The problem is, I haven't found any detailed drawings with dimensions, only photos. Can anyone help me with that? All the best...
