    DCC or DC to power trains

    This of course is a personal opinion but I had the pleasure of going to a Model Train Show at the weekend, the first time I had listened to loco's fitted with DCC, the first loco I listened to was an HO Big Boy, later I listened to many other DCC equiped locos, sadly none of them did anything...

    show me your trolleys!

    Japanese N Gauge Trolley, made by Modemo, 1/150th scale, very smooth running all wheel pickup job, got this unit yesterday to run on my freelance layout, all rolling stock is Japanese prototype.

    What mistake have you done and what have you learn about it.

    Using switch motors instead of push rods, all switches are working fine at the moment but I think I would have liked the basic mechanical system better, I guess I like things unsophisticated.
