I installed a SoundTraxx Decoder in a Atlas H16-44 with a 3/4 inch speaker in the top where the fan was. Looks good, runs good, but the sound is not loud enough. I changed the sound cv to 255 but it did not help!! Any suggestions????:wave:

Deano I took the shell off there are two seperate lights, it is a MRC sound decoder. Only the bottom light lights up, I need to know how to program the top light. Nick

Athearn DCC I can't find anything on the lights. The unit has a upper & lower light when I turn the light on only the lower one lights. There is not any information on programming the lights. Does anyone have one?:confused:

help Athearn DCC I looked on the site and in the manual that came with the loco, they only state that the lights are there, but not how to program them. :confused:

Deano, I model PRR their H-15 ran with the long end foward, when it comes from Atlas the cab end is the front. Nick

Deano, There is also a Bit 1 - Bit 7 under CV 29 for other settings. Nick

Deano, es, I want to change the direction when it is showing forward on the controller it is going in reverse. I have a paper from Atlas with the CV values. CV 29 is for direction but, it is CV29 Bit 0. Value should be 0=normal, 1=inverted. I can pull up CV29 but how do I get to Bit...

paint If it is plastic Easy-Off oven cleaner works great. Put item on a plastic trash bag and spray, let sit around 15 min then clean with water. Wear gloves!!!

Does anyone have a picture of an orginal Mantua - Tyco Sharknose deisel from late 1950 to early 1960? They were cast with hook and loop couplers. I had one when I was a kid, now I found another that has been painted, I want to restore them.

:wave: Hi, I have a Proto GP-7 DCC with sound. I use a MRC Prodigy DCC System. The engine runs foward in reverse and reverse in foward. I know there is a way to change the direction of the loco, but I don't remember which cv it is. Can anybody help me??? Snick
