As I stated in previous posts, my future plans to build a new layout based on a Atlas Track Plan, has run into a snag. After disassembling my old layout this past weekend, I did some serious measuring and found out my dream 6' x 13' dream layout ain't gonna fit into the whole finished basement...

My problem is that all but three of the 30+ pieces of rolling stock are old Tyco and Bachmann from my childhood and certainly will not go with my plans of a prototypical look. Should I list them on Ebay and take the money and spend it on some better freight cars or should I keep them? If I keep...

I'm in the process of dismantling an old 5' x 9' layout that I constructed when I was a teenager. Plans have all ready been selected for a simple double folded dogbone style with serveral crossings and turnouts. The interest here will be lots of moving trains with detailed landscaping. Hopefully...
