    Dcc?

Trouble? I wouldn't use that word, if anything DCC is much easier to wire. Cost is your deal breaker. DCC engines cost a little more but a good quality engine, DCC ready isn't much more than without. And then you have to figure out which controller you want. Too me, its a no brainer, you...

    How about a video?

Thats a great Idea XavierJ123, but with all the different types of media out there, (8mm, VHS C, DVD, memory cards), IMO it would prove too difficult to organize. VHS type recorders are fading fast, alot of people are upgrading to newer media types of cameras. However, I am handy with most...

    Atlas Shay

There is a series of images on Atlas' website that lets you spin the object around to look at it in detail. I was in Trainland saturday night, and they still have not received it. The only Shay they had was a Riverossi in HO.

    Favorite N Scale Manufacturer

Kato definately, worth every penny, will last the longest. Atlas second. I don't have any micro trains YET, but they are supposed to be pretty good too.

    My new layout

Great work on the layout. Really nicely detailed with the pictures. I am looking forward to seeing your next pictures. As far as Cats go, good luck. I have three. Mainly with my N, partly HO, and even the O under the tree; they will get to the layout no matter how well you have it...

    Your Favorite HO Scale Manufacturer?

Tuff choices, several good reasons to argue. Kato is the best. Hands down. Also, the most expensive , edging out Atlas and Athearn. I had to chose Atlas for their wide variety. They even modeled Long Island Railroad. But then again, I love all my Broadway Limited Sound that the others all...

    My Father's Illness

Jon, my condolances. I have been there several times, and it never gets easier. Together with the fact that it has to happen this time of year kills your spirit. Hang in there, it sounds like you have a good close family, which will help you get thru this. Tom
