    SD40 and 9 3/4" radius , is it OK ?

    Not sure about the IC paint,but Kato makes the SD40 and i run it on some tight curves that are at least 9 3/4,with no problems at all.

    grade crossings

    I used the same method with dry wall compound on a corner just past my turnout and it turned out very well for me.I built up the road section with sheet foam and layed the drywall mix between WS paving tape.Cleaned out the rail grooves and painted I have more pictues on my web page if you want...

    whats a good N scale cleaning car?

    I have the Centerline cleaning car in N scale,and i am very happy with results with it.I After i do a major cleaning by hand if my layout has been sitting for awhile i run the car for a few laps everyday wet or dry depending on the if i let the tracks go for more that a day or two.

    Snow shed Had a little free time over the holiday season,so i tried my had at scratch building a snow shed.Also had to replace a section pf track that was kinked and caused my new AC4400 to derail all the time.Now i need to repaint and ballast that section.
