    My Z-Scale SD45

I don't know Livesteam, it might be a bit heavier, so it might take a few more cars. To bad I don't have like 40 cars to test it out :) That's great Zman :) You can make a very nice layout in a very small space.

    My Z-Scale SD45

Wow Robert, that's terrible news! I didn't know that the sun could mess it up that much. My trainroom has no direct sunlight comming into it, bit it's terribly hot up there right now, like 37deg. I checked my rails and they seem fine. I recieved my 4th AZL ;) It got in a few weeks ago...

    My Z-Scale SD45

I finished the biggest frame of the 2 end modules today. It's very rigid and will make the perfect base :) Tomorrow I got the day off, so hopefully I can finish the other end module then. (pics soon) I'm looking at this layout kit to start learning how to make scenery. Because I'm a...

Robert, could you do me a little favor? Make some shots of that GP-35, I'm really interested in that model. I seen the chassis and it looks very promising, I wonder how it looks with the shell on it. I also wonder what the other secret MTL model will be, could you give me a hint? :) I...

    My Z-Scale SD45

I'm going to sell most of my Marklin switches and wait for Micro Trains to release their switches :) The MT's will look better on my layout since I also use MT flex track. This is a picture of the new layout, it differs a little bit. I'm starting all over again, hopefully this is the last...

I'm aware, but read "hoping", I didn't say they're planning to release one... I'm talking about the 3-suitcase layout with turntable and at least 20 switches and you talk about a single suitcase layout, quite a difference... I'll try to chose better words next time ;) An...

You mean the brief cases in the pictures above? I don't have the slightest clue to be honest, you could be able to make something like that with $3000? I might be way off...

    Turn Radius

Z - can be as small as 5.7" radius, however anything under 7.7" is too tight in my opinion.

You mean a Z-Scale Big Boy? Sorry they're not released yet :D I'm hoping it'll be on the market in 2006, I guess it'll cost around $2000 usd if AZL makes em.

    Pictures of your Z scales

I'm planning to build a layout :) When things get easier at school I'll try to putt some time in it. Here is an overview: I still have to plan a coal area at the bottom right module. The top edge of the modules is 360cm long. At some places it's 40cm deep. I like to keep it as compact as...

I sure seen some beautiful layouts :) I try to keep mine very small though. Most of the money goes into the rolling stock ;) I don't think the scenery is much more expensive then with a regular N-Scale layout.

Cars cost around $20 to $30 usd. The one in the picture is a double stack wagon from http://www.fr-model.de/ I had to build it myself and payed $20 usd for the kit. It is out of production :( Z-Scale engines don't have sound, allthough you might fit a sound decoder into a steam tender.
