Hey, thanks everyone... I wish I could claim ownership of these beautiful locos, but, alas, they are not mine. As Gary has pointed out, they were just visiting with temporary trackage rights... Fun stuff... Jim ;)

    Troop sleeper conversions

Dick; I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the May 2003 Issue of Railroad Model Craftsman; on p. 80 of that issue there begins an article titled "Kitbashing a Bangor & Aroostook Caboose". This is for an HO model but you may find some very useful tips and photos... Jim Harr

    Progress on the Indiana Midland

Hey Marty; This really is fantastic; I can't believe how quickly you were able to get that Main up and running. And very clean, well-joined benchwork and fascia. Very nice indeed; and, I like your choice of prototypes too! Jim

New & improved flat with lumber

Andrew: Excellent work! This look sgreat; I just KNOW I've seen a picture of that load somewhere! Speaking of pictures, there is a good book out there, one of a series, called "Classic Freight Cars, the Series", Volume 6: Loaded Flats and Gondolas... This book is chock full (loaded?) of...

    The GG-1 rumbles overhead!

What a great idea Ralph - the perfect way to include a bit of that hard-to-model catenary, by just doing a small portion of it. Looks like you're off to a great start; I look forward to more. Your catnary towers look pretty robust, so, perhaps in combination with the etched accessories that...
