    The MDC 2-8-0 is great. A lot of the Bachman's don't run well out of the box, but you can buy them today from Model Expo for $63-70, so you can afford to buy a couple looking for a good one..... in fact, looking at my range of boxes, there are a lot of good steamers, some are real old...

    in general I echo your comments about only 4 axle diesels with 9 3/4 curves, except the Atlas Trainmaster works great on these curves. if you want steam, both the Bachman and especially the MDC 2-8-0s work ok on these curves. Michael Hewitt Wilmington, NC

    Gregg I usually surf with Internet Explorer 5.5, and the modeltrainstuff site comes up fine in that. with Netscape 4.7 - FORGET IT! they say on the site use IE 6, but if you have the updates to 5.5 it should be no problem. so, if you aren't seeing the website properly, look to your...
