With this model, it's the slow and constant builds that seem to get finished, and come out the best. Your progress seems just like what everyone else has gone through. Great progress! :)

thanks Zathros. it is going slow but i'm getting her done. also the big "E" ( 1701) is in the front room hollering to me to get her out since it's warm and work on her too. i can sit out side and work on her and at least the parts woun't fly away from a breeze.

Ya, not sure how well this "paper airplane" would do outside of zero g. This would could do some damage if it were to accidentally hit someone...

The trick I learnt with building extra big models and hiding it from the wife is build all the parts first and then put it together last and when done stand back and look surprised that it turned out that big! The trick is to look innocent while denying any knowledge of the final size :)

Model is looking good, will keep an eye on your build!

That seems like sound, good, "legal" advice!! :)

it's a little hard to look "innocent" when i was caught taking pictures of the finished front on the table..hiding it was easy since she will not step foot in the front bedroom with all the model stuff in it, but then i had to bring it out and take pic's.... my mistake..
as to doing damage to someone, yup, paper cuts

My wife does aircraft financing, so I may be forced to make some for her office, for display, and to give away to interested prospective clients.
