Get the Studebaker "Avanti" model. I think it's from AMT. It is a beautiful model, even has the twin Paxton superchargers on it!! It's a challenge, but well worth it. Everything opens on it. :)

i could not build that kit to much work plus i have tried a kit like that but it was 63 mustang concept car . it had everything open i had to i glue it all shut it just to be able to build it. i just dont have the patiance to build any car model correctly. i delete several things the engine glue down the hood. i also delete on some kits the chassis because it is to complicated and swicth it with a simpler one that comes with a different kit by a different company

That's the whole idea mchale, when you get frustrated, you stop, think about it, then try again. That is how you incraese your skill. From what I have seen of your work since I first met you, I know you can do this. Forget the past. Be here now!! :)

With twin Paxton Superchargers, this was the foundation of muscle cars. I don't think you realize how old that car is. 1,2oo were made in 1963, and 4,600 the next year. The company has been purchased and can be purchased now, albeit out of modern materials. The Avanti broke 29 speed records at the Bonneville Salt flats. Sometimes, you can't judge a book by it's cover! This is the exact way I would like to have one. This was the last one made on the Stdebaker hassis, and it has a Corvette L1 5.2Liter engine. It's a rocket!! :)

Nice, you may want to get into holding those hoods over some heat to shape them, then they won't pop out like that.
Please, start uploading smaller PICTURES!! Use the "Thumbnail" option. The a member just has to double click on the pic to see it bigger. They are taking too long to load and do not show up good when enlarged, they are extremely fuzzy. Keep them around 1024 x 768, and you will have a good photo all the time. I am bringing your pics down to thumbnail size, as these are taking way way too long. As you can see, this makes you post easier to read and the pictures come out at a nice size when double clicked on. :)

JoHann has some nice models. The molds are usually old, and a lot of flashing has to be removed, but you can find some really unusual cars from them. :)
