Hi dears,

I have started my new project which should be Czech trainer/fighter Let C-11, which was build as licence of Jak-11 in Czech factory Let Kunovice. This model should be finally in scale 1/33 with possibility to build model in colours of Czechoslovak air force, Polish air force, GDR/DDR air force, Hungarian air force, Russian air force and Austrian air force.

In this moment I have model without interior, but final model will include interior as well as other details. I still think if there will be engine inside, so I will have to think about this. Below are some pics from my build of this model in scale 1/50 in Czechoslovak air force livery.

Looks good. Double up on the propeller though. A single blade propeller looks distracting. :)

Hi Zathros,
thanks, but this plane has only single blade propeller :)

Hi dears. I have now started to build this model in 1/33 scale and below are some pics. I have also added easy engine , but it does not have to be used. Final model is without any marking and this will be added as xtra page where you can decide between, CZ, AT, HU, BG, GDR, PL, RU and Egyptian air force where this plane was in service. I hope you will like my progress. There are still some things to repair on this model and this will be done within few weeks. Unfortunatelly I'm not able to make more photos during build, but I will try to slow down :)

I did not mean that you should add two more props but, well, see pic below (kind of clunky props, but I wished to show what I meant) :) :

The first pic is a propellor made with a single sheet. The second one is built up, this can be done various ways. It is thick and really sets any aircraft off. :)Single Layer Prop.jpg Double Layer Prop.jpg

You can take photos and post them all at the end, if you wish, that would be great. Your work is outstanding, and a joy to behold. Especially the build ups! :)

Dear Zathros,

blade is not single sheet, but it is quite small on the first model and I'm not the best photographer :) On 1/33 model it is much better
Anyway here is a little update:
another update is half wing with extracted flaps and ailerons. This is most difficult part of the model because of the shapes and cuted parts.

My apologies sir. I see the blades thickness now. That plane is beautiful. I was a pilot for a while. To pay for my flying, I worked on aircraft. Your's have a very nice realism to them. I enjoy every picture you post. Make the pics full size, so we can see them!! The wing section, (bottom view) with the landing gear cut out, now that is high quality model engineering! :)

no problem, it is hard for me to make good pics :) I don't have daily light to make these, only sometimes on weekends.
I will finish to this model second wing and undercarriage during next week and then will be made some corrections in PC :)

so I'm almost done. I have finished left wing and connected this part with fuselage. I will add undercarriage and some details. After this I will make some corrections and handover this plane to another test :)

I hope you like my progress with this model and soon I will show you another project :)

Thanks Zathros, I'm trying to do all planes as much realistic from paper as possible. some details still have to be changed or corrected. I have plans for my next projects already and I have another plane almost ready in my PC :)
My biggest project I have in my mind is actually czech transport plane LET L-410 Turbolet in 1/33 scale and bigger Soviet transport plane Antonov AN-26 Curl in the same scale, but these projects will take a while to be finished.

You plane almost looks like a plastic kit. I write almost, because it looks better, more, and finer detail. Excellent!! :)
