An old glider design of mine.

I was searching through our craft room closet and ran across this. I built this a couple of years ago from some of the drawings I made in high school for us to fly around in the backyard.

That is REALLY COOL looking!
I wonder how well it would translate into paper (if possible).

Thanks guys. I have a whole fleet of old designs from my teens. I like your idea Rhaven to develop this into paper. That would allow me to color it up a bit also. I may even add some windows, control surfaces, and landing gear.

By all means, post the rest of your fleet!
I look forward to seeing it made into a paper model!
GOOD LUCK WITH IT!!!

On the paper side of things, I need a good program for creating the paper parts. Suggestions are very much welcome. I bumped into a program called Pepekura. I usually start in AutoCAD or AutoSketch with a standard three view and work from there.

This might be a fun thing to have a vote on. "Which model should I develop first?"

@finchhawk maybe to add color like you said you wanted to, you could just add paper layers over the balsa, as that way it would have the color you want AND the durability of the balsa wood
