Just finished the 1/96th version of the STS. I really like the details Alfonso added to the SRB's. Any chance of getting them for the 1/144th space shuttle? Not a build thread, just some of the finished photos.

Both of your Builds look Awesome! And, your Photo Essay with the 1:144th Version make for an excellent Build Manual! Thanks for showing them off!

And thanks to you Alfonso, for all of your hard work. As I get more proficient, I'm looking forward to giving one of your Models a try!

You're quite welcome, Alfonso! :)

Slightly OT here (apologies to the OP), but I was wondering if you have any plans to Model the Boeing CST-100/Atlas V stack in the near future?

Cheers!

Alfonso, your contribution to this community is only over come by your contribution to the world by creating these models anyone can build, and keep the Space Program alive in the minds of many, and quite tangible.

I'd love to see a Space X Dragon Capsule with the 7 Astronauts carrying option, I believe this will launch very soon. ;)

Thanks for your words, Zathros. That's my intention by making these models. I want to keep the Space Program alive in the younger generation.

Couldn't agree more with Zathros, your work is amazing and one of the reasons I started doing paper models. I was looking for a space shuttle model and found your site and have been hooked ever since.

I am so honored that you are a member of this forum, and so regularly interact with everyone. I find it beyond words to express how honored we all feel, and from the P.M.'s I get, I know this comes from the whole forum. Just a big THANKS!!

I do wish you would make a banner across the bottom of your signature, and make it quite a bit BIGGER! Maybe based on the one in your avatar pic? Big as you want! :)

Your Creations and Resources are the engines for our creativity, Alfonso!

Recent rumblings @ NASA are talking about the "Exploration Gateway Platform", using existing ISS technology to place a 'launching point' for Moon & Mars missions at the Earth/Moon Lagrange points... a perfect 'launching point' for creating either a Platform or a Ship for deep space exploration
out of cardstock, and your Models are perfect!

Just have to work out the 'Orion' angle; 1:144 is the Scale I want to build in...
