Hi everybody,

I'm Robby (aka Cusco). I live in Genk, a small town in Belgium. I'm 38y old, married and father of 2 kids.

My hobby is building model kits in paper and plastic.

In plastic, I stick to cars from the 70's until present. I am also member of a local modelling club with some petrolheads :) and introducing them to paper modelling.

In paper, I build what I like, without sticking to a theme. Sometimes I build what my kids would like for their bedrooms.

My most important builds are :
- Yamaha VMax Ultra realistic
- Yamaha MT-01 Ultra realistic
- Mille Miglia Chopper
- Optimus Prime

I will post photo's later this day.

Hi & Welcome Robby, you're in the right place! This is possibly the best place for modelers (paper & otherwise) and a really friendly bunch of guys. (even if we do go off topic with puns :))

P.S: Where is that model of the Hardcore bike from ? I know somebody that that would make a great gift for ...... ;)

Damn, that looks GREAT!!! It's such an honour to have you here. I have built the humming-bird myself several times for my colleagues at work. I put a spring coil on the belly and attached it to a big paper blossom to make it look as if it is hovering over it.

Welcome to the forum! Great models - very well done. I agree with cybergrinder that this is a nice place with all types of modelers and modeling. All lot of the people here are from all walks of life and from all over the world with a love of building stuff because it's fun, frustrating, freaky, and fantastic (when done)!

I like the castle and the rabbit (for small scale). Your Optimus Prime is pretty neat as well.

Where did you get the Castle?

This has to be the best collection of models I've yet seen in an Introduction!! WOW! Welcome to Zealot, and again WOW! What a fine collection of works!! :)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. :)

Yesterday I challenged myself by starting the build of the Ferrari engine made by Retunga. I'm doing some small tests, but when the build starts, I will open a thread. Maybe I will build some smaller models when I got bored of the engine.;)

The castle I found on the official Disney Papercraft pages http://www.disneyexperience.com/models/ . The model I build was the sleeping beauty castle.
