Quick update. I review the textures just to see if they can be edited later on, until now they were just lines taken from pictures. It's rather demanding to get acceptable results in Photoshop but with a bit more patience should be ok. I'm currently modeling the foot, and the complexity is...

Quick update on stuff that was waiting to be added some mapping. takes less than an hour to build, and needs only minor adjustments. Very small piece, normally the smallest vessel on my list. The largest is nearly a3 size, so it would be impractical to increase it's size. It's 9.6 cm in length...

thank you all for the nice comments. the paper I use to keep these models solid is 250gs/m2, that's card stock. often I part have to be reinforced with 1mm cardstock, those have a small comment next to them on the file. I would love to see some pictures of anyone doing my models, if anyone...

I use MAYA mostly, but started with 3ds studio years back before the MAX version came out. Doing the complete weapons pods for the land raider with higher details. the weapons are so small that it's hard to add detail without making them impossible to build. I'll figure something out...

Hi terrinecold, could you post more pictures of the model? all the lower part for example. I am half way done but it looks like parts are missing or were modified. Closeups would really help everybody trying to build it :mrgreen:

pics of the real stuff now. I'm a lousy builder specially when testing... i've added a picture of the size i'm planning for the ships, the largest will be a3 size max, this is a size in between (22 cm). Regarding the warhound it's planned to be the exact same size as the model, with textures...

quick update on the turret and the front autocannon, modeling is done. the parts are very small on the autocannon, not sure if I should cut on the detail.... also doing a pdf with the instructions on how to change the textures, I use Photoshop but should be compatible with Gimp as well
