My next project that is about 1/2 done is the XCV-330 SS Enterprise. Though it isn't nearly as complicated overall, the rings on it are even more fiddly.

The only complete 1/48 sat v I know of is Ton's which is at www.jleslie48.com. In fact I'm working on it now with some minor additions.

I stumbled into card modeling because some of the subjects I wanted to build didn't exist in plastic or resin (or if they did, cost a ton). Paper also feels more like scratchbuilding as you have to create both the part and fit them together. Then of course you can enlarge/shrink things as...
