    best way to dismantle

Got it done Well, It's complete. I dismantled the layout. It is pretty sad when it takes 6+ months of weekenights to put up and it takes only 8 hours to tear down. I hope my new home will have sufficient space to start again. Thanks for all your help. Warning-Pics May be large...

    best way to dismantle

Thanks guys, all great info. How about packaging structures and rolling stock for a move? I figured newspaper would do fine for most rolling stock, but the structures may be another issue. Any tips for that? Thanks again,

    best way to dismantle

Hi all, I need your advice on the best way to dismantle my layout. I am going to have to move so I neet the pieces to be manageable. Since we have not found the new house yet, I guess it will be unlikely that the layout in it's current form will be 100% reusable. So...my layout is wired...

    New Space need track plan

It's not a problem guys, I just wanted to bump it up so others may contribute if they wish. As for the access...the only wall is at the top of my picture. all other sides are accessible and the reach isn't too bad on the left side, as you can reach 1/2 way on each side. As for...

    New Space need track plan

Hi everyone, I have a new space allotted to me (See attached pic) and I am not all that good with developing track plans. This was someone's old benchwork that they gave to me,, so I'd like to keep it close to the way it is assembled if possible. Anyone here willing to give it a shot...

    Track plan to review

Thanks! You really hit it on the head there. My goal is to do a lot of continuous running with 2-3 trains. My scenery ideas although not very complete were to have "town" on the right side of the layout where the tracks are all at the same height with a 2 track crossing in the middle of...

    Track plan to review

All, I have begun constructing this in HO. I just found this place, so give it a look and see if there is anything that looks incorrect. The outside loop is approx. 6" higher than the inside loop on the left side and the grade comes down the right side on all of the tracks. The yard is...
