    Rusty's Fantastic Water Tower

Nope Jon, we are in the "high country" herebouts, Fishers. The river is at least 75 feet below us but they do have their pant legs rolled WAY up. Two days ago it was at flood stage. Glad you liked that one here's an overall shot. As I can't put commercial messages here just keep an eye on my...

Problems with Micro Marks RTV mold

Be sure to heat the mold before pouring the resin in. I heat mine in a microwave oven at high for four to five minutes. Also, before heating the mold dust it with baby powder and blow the excess away real good. You'll have better results that way. Once the mold is hot you can reuse it with out...

    Home Cut Lumber

Steam Donkey, No, the board doesn't slide it's a tight fit to the table. I had to add it because I had originally built the unit for a much larger drum and rather than take it all apart I just added the extra table. This was a good move as I was able to force slide it back and forth under the...

    Home Cut Lumber

Tell ya what! I'll take and add some pages to my website showing the sander and the band saw. It'll take me a couple of days but on around the end of the week (Nov. 15, 03) go to www.rustystumps.com and scroll to the bottom of the Home page and I'll have links there for the surface sander and...

    Home Cut Lumber

Stan, I cut almost all my own scale lumber. I just purchased a new band saw as I burnt the motor up on the older one I have. The new saw, a Craftsman 9", was $99 on sale and I also had an extra $5 coupon they let me use. (that was a Craftsman's Club Sale by the way) I built an auxilliary...

    Something new available!

Yes Greg, if your reffering to the Rail and Tie car. That was one of my early test casting that he made up into a finished car. It looked real good. The coupler pocked will take a Kadee #5, 58 or a EasyMate coupler and there may be others that will fit like, I think, an O gauge #3. Also, I...

    Derailment

NASA does this all the time only a little more controlled!:D Like the astronaut commented when asked by a reporter what it felt like sitting in the space capsul just before launch.... "how would you feel sitting on 500 tons of high explosives all built by the lowest bidder?" The rail...
