The UHU02 Colonial Viper appreciation thread

I very much want to see these pictures, but all I get are blank picture boxes. Not even thumbnails show up. I've tried it in 3 different browsers, on multiple computers with different IPs, etc. What gives? I want my Viper Mk.II fix!!! :P

    Jaybats Republic Star Destroyer colored

You might want to look instead for an improved more detailed version of Jaybats' cruiser. It was upgraded by a guy named Tiluchi. However I don't know if he's on these forums. I read about it on another website.

    BSG 1.5 Foot Galactica

Wow, very nice! Thanks for doing this. I have the 1.5 in mind as well but no time to do it for a while, and you're paving the way and pointing out all the issues I'll keep a wary eye on! :) One thing I notice, though..... Are you sure those "lips" around the glowing exhaust ports weren't...

    Babylon 5: Babylon 5 -station

Ahhh... That takes me back! I used to watch that show a lot. Loved it (for the most part). Might want to start planning how you'll display it!

    Colonial Viper Mark II detailing

This may be of interest. Too large to insert, so I'll give a link. http://www.nakatomitower.com/ViperVII_litcockpit.jpg It's for the VII, not the II, but still interesting!

    Battlestar Galactica: Colonial Shuttle (TOS)

Okay, I'm at another stumbling point... Need clarification on the two "L" shaped parts on the back. I haven't glued the parts together yet, because I can't tell if they're supposed to go inside the two halves and stick out the square opening, or what. I don't know why it wanted me to cut out the...

    Moldy Crow / Milleniumfalsehood / 1:48

Holy cow! That's amazing work on those underside details. I especially love the intakes and the smoothness of the curves, but that doesn't mean the gun is any less impressive!

    Moldy Crow / Milleniumfalsehood / 1:48

I'm a big fan of the games, but always thought the Crow was rather ugly for a design (like the A-10 Warthog, ugly but effective). I'm curious where the references for the inside were when this model was created. I don't recall there being many clear shots of it in any of the games. Funny...

    Battlestar Galactica: Colonial Shuttle (TOS)

There are 4 "domes" on the back of the model. I can sort of mentally picture how the paper goes together, but seeing the parts prepped and ready for glue I'm having more problems. So to start with I take the lowest part of the dome (the base) and it has placement tabs that touch the back of the...

    Battlestar Galactica: Colonial Shuttle (TOS)

I need help. What is the purpose of part 37? I have formed part 36, and from the instructions file and from the photos of the finished shuttle, it seems a simple pipe-with-a-cap-on-it assembly. Is part 38 supposed to be recessed inside the pipe (and 37 is printed for the interior side of the...

EDIT: This is most strange... Somehow this reply ended up on the wrong thread in the wrong forum! Sorry.
