2. paper bends! Don't be afraid to bend and shape as needed 3. once you have placed glue onto a piece and it drops it will land on the glue side 4. don't be afraid to cut pieces as needed to help with a tight fit

Thanks Blaster Master! I have some more words of wisdom....well maybe just words. 1. you will get glue on yourself no matter how hard you try not to (The picture is a dramatization of excess glue) no I lie I'm still learning

Since now I'm an expert (HAHAHA) what does everyone think about doing a full 1:1 engine block and build it into an coffee table??? Like this one but having the glass on top of the engine. Are there files of full-size engine blocks?

So what have I learned: 1. get a flexible armed magnifying glass. This really helps with making cuts. 2. tooth pick work great for applying/spreading glue. 3. fine tweezers and clamping ones help a lot. 4. lots of light I will need to invest in colored pens/pencils to hide all the mistakes.

So I picked the BSG raptor as my first model. I do have a few questions: 1. is there an easy way to tell where to score for the folds? 2. if possible should I score from the backside of the model, the unprinted side? Thanks

With all the armor and full suits starting out made from paper I would think the site would have a big following. I don't see a heading for customs/cosplay, is there one???

spaceagent-9 I was thinking of using epoxy resin to strengthen the paper but I think you are right that trying to solve one problem would lead to another. Zathros thanks for the pictures that helps.

Thanks Zathros for the info. One question, please explain in a little more detail about not using the tabs. Do I just butt the two pieces together and then add the backing strip? Sorry I'm slow sometimes....well most of the time :-) Ohh and thanks for the free site!
