Hi, guys! I want to buy the locomotive Bachmann EMD SD45, DCC Ready, N scale. I thought in Bachmann DCC Decoder item No: 44915 with NMRA plug. The 44915 decoder goes with the SD45? Is the same decoder for all Bachmann's DCC Ready locomotives? Or I need a decoder with wires for soldering...

Don't worry, you're right! All my Bachmann's freight cars has trucks mounted with plastic pin! Only the caboose has the trucks mounted with screws. Your post is perfectly valid. Thanks for your reply. :thumb:

Micro Trains is also good choice and easy to find. Then, there is no problem mixing Accumate with MT? That's can be the solution! If Atlas is hard to find, and it is, I'll try MT. Thanks. :)

Hi umtrr-author yes, it's possible that the hole in the car is not of the same size. You're right, I will try with only one car. I have eight old Bachmann's freight cars with rapido couplers. But I think to change only one coupler to connect it to the rest of the train. :thumb:
